May 9-11 2008: a weekend to celebrate the diverse nature of Chritianity in the UK. The celebration will involve a wide range of church groups, denominations, para-Church organisations and businesses all around the theme of Pentecost. It is an event for all: multi-cultural and cross-generational. It will be full of life, colour, prayer, vision, creativity, sport, the arts, Bible study, music, worship, social action, practical care and compassion and IT’S ALL FREE
Programme:
FRIDAY (9th): large performance style events across major venues.
SATURDAY (10th): up to 60 venues located to close to central Underground stations; covering everything from dance and comedy to sport and seminars to outreach and workshops.
SUNDAY (11th): am people will be encouraged to attend a church with a different style of worship to their own.
pm: Global Day of Prayer 2008: thousands will be invited to come together and engage with God.
